Updating to 1.1.0

From 1.0.0 to 1.1.0. See what's new in the changelog.

This takes about 5 minutes. The database doesn't change: players keep their vehicles, keys and nicknames, and garages made in the builder stay.

#1. Back up

Copy your whole mayo_garages folder somewhere safe first, especially config.lua, locales and bridge.

#2. Download 1.1.0

Download mayo_garages 1.1.0 from the CFX portal under Granted Assets.

#3. Replace the files

1. Stop the resource, or stop the server.

2. Copy the new files over your old mayo_garages folder, replacing them, except these, which you keep:

   • config.lua
   • the locales and bridge folders, if you edited them

1.1.0 adds new files: client/hud.lua, client/tablet.lua, server/tablet.lua and the html/tablet folder. Copy everything in, not just the files you changed before.

#4. Optional: the new settings

You don't need these: without them, everything works with the defaults. To change them, add them to your config.lua.

#5. Optional: the new texts

If you kept your own locales/en.lua, copy the new tablet = { ... } block from the new locales/en.lua into yours. Without it, the Garage app shows in English.

#6. Mayo Pause Menu

The Garage app shows up on its own. If you added a Garage app to Config.Apps in the pause menu's config.lua yourself, remove it. See With Mayo Pause Menu.

#7. Start the server

Restart the server, or run refresh and then ensure mayo_garages in the console. refresh is needed because there are new files.

#8. Check it works

• The console shows no errors from mayo_garages.
• The version line in fxmanifest.lua says 1.1.0.
• Open a garage: the appearance button sits in the header next to the close button.
• With Mayo Pause Menu: press Esc, and the tablet has a Garage app.
